He went off course and ran an extra half an hour, but he returned to where he left the course and made a respectable finish. Three other "Leadman" competitors went off course, but were disqualified when they rejoined the course further on. "Leadmen" complete five races in the course of the summer, two ultra mountain bike races (50 and 100 miles), the Leadville Trail Marathon, 10K, and the Leadville 100 (miles).
