The New Yorker: The Talk of the Town

The article that drove Bill O'Reilly to put the venerable New Yorker on his "hit list"...what a crank! :

"Chestnuts are roasting on an open fire, with Jack Frost nipping at your nose and folks dressed up like Eskimos—or, to update the line for political correctness, with tots in boots just like Aleuts. It’s that magical season when lights twinkle and good will abounds. It’s time again for the thrill that comes but once a year: the War on Christmas."

As a thinking human being, I cannot believe how much time is devoted to "The War on Christmas!"

Unfortunatly, with all the air and print time given to that convoluted non-story, we are giving "Billy" excactly what he wants. Ratings and free publicity!

Check this out from "Crooks and Liars": http://www.crooksandliars.com/2005/12/21.html#a6426

John Gibson goes ballistic when Ron Boston calls the "War on Christmas" for what it is: phony!
