End of the road on our attempt on the high point of Michigan north of L'Anse on the UP last Friday, May the 12th. With 12 miles to go to the high point from here, we prudently decided to turn around and head back to our hotel in Eagle River, Wisconsin where we had a marathon to run the next day...
