Weeping Rock, Zion National Park. This phenomenon of the cliffs "weeping" water is caused by rain water travelling through porous sandstone on the plateaus above Zion Canyon until it reaches the shale layer at which point it travels horizontally across the non-porous shale until it "weeps" out of the side of the canyon cliffs...
