We have snow and wind down here in Colorado Springs too! I experienced quite the wierd scene with the sun setting over Pikes Peak while dark clouds broiled down from the north. By the time I got home the snow was falling...
Whiteout Conditions Shut Down I-70:
"A powerful winter storm with lots of high wind and blowing snow is making its way across the state, causing numerous accidents and forcing officials to shut down a 70-mile stretch of Interstate 70, stranding dozens of travelers."
